The under has hit in 4 of the last 5 games between Rutgers and Indiana.

SMU hasn’t covered a spread in their last 5 games. If the Bearcats are down at halftime, consider sprinkling some money on the Cinci moneyline, as they are one of the best second half defenses in the nation (9.0 points per 2nd half, 19th nationally) versus SMU’s 117th-ranked second half defense (17.8 points per 2nd half).

Northwestern is 2-0 straight up and against the spread versus Maryland as Big Ten foes.

These are two of the most prolific first half offenses in the nation, with Oklahoma State averaging 24.2 points per first half (4th nationally) and Texas averaging 20.7 points per first half (13th nationally). The first half total currently sits at 31.0.

New Mexico State is one of the worst first-half teams in the nation (7.3 points per first half, 120th nationally), taking on one of the best first-half defenses in the nation (4.8 points allowed, 2nd nationally). SJSU is just 10.5-point first half favorites.

Fresno State is 8-1 ATS against New Mexico in their last 9 meetings.

Alabama is 4-0 ATS after a loss since the 2017 season.

Gookin is an Iowa State graduate with a degree in journalism, but decided writing professionally wasn't all it was cracked up to be. Instead, he took an unpaid position to write content for this blog, which seems counter-intuitive, but he enjoys it, nonetheless. Gookin was voted male with the “Most School Spirit,” and 2nd most flirtatious in his senior class. He enjoys statistics no one else has the patience to look up and enjoys Iowa State athletics more than he’s willing to admit. A closet Hawkeye fan (false), you can find Alex being harassed by at least one bad Twitter troll and winning nearly all of his online fights (less false, but false).
