TGS Presents: Stuff N Things 1.01: Bye Bye CY! Hello UNI

Welcome to the Stuff ‘N Things podcast!

Well, I will finally make my parents happy.  I’m putting my radio broadcasting degree to use, thanks Brown College!  This summer as I was trying to put my thoughts in order for articles I’d like to write, one overwhelming theme kept popping in my head, “I wish I could just have a show and talk about stuff”.  So here we are, with the Stuff ‘N Things Podcast, my co-host is my long-time college buddy @brojoe13 on Twitter.  We used to have a radio show together when we were at Central College, so we jumped at the chance to start it up again!  You can find our podcast on Anchor.fm, RadioPublic, Stitcher, Spotify, Overcast and Google Podcasts!

We’re talking a lot of Iowa sports and whatever nonsense we drift off in to!  We’re always open for questions, you can find us at @StuffNThingsPod on Twitter.  Check it out, if you don’t like it, we’ll refund your money!

Pete was born and raised in the metropolis of St. Charles, IA. He is a die-hard Hawkeyes, Cubs, & Chiefs fan and he still says his greatest accomplishment is partying his way out of Central College in just under 2 1/2 years. Pete got a degree in radio broadcasting from Brown College in the Twin Cities, and promptly decided to get into the insurance industry instead. He's finally putting that degree to good use by running the Stuff 'N Things Podcast with his former college radio show co-host Joe here on TGS. Mainly it's because he got tired of writing articles and is just better at sitting in front of a microphone and talking. He also thinks he can differentiate all domestic beers in a blind taste test. Big goals here, folks.
