Gookin’s Gambling Trends Week Three

Louisville has covered the spread in 5 of the last 6 meetings with Florida State. 

The home team has won 6 of the last 7 games between Wyoming and Air Force. 
 
Nebraska has covered the spread as an underdog in the last 3 games against Oklahoma (2009, 2010, 2021). 
 
The road team has covered the spread in the last 6 meetings between Georgia and South Carolina and the over has hit in Columbia in the last 4 meetings. 
 
Vanderbilt and Northern Illinois have played 3 times since 1995. Vanderbilt was favorites in all 3 games, went 3-0 straight up, and 0-3 against the spread. 
 
Appalachian State is 3-0 against the spread in the past 3 meetings against Troy. App State has been favored by an average of 11.6 points in those meetings and finished with an average margin of victory of 36.7. 
 
The under has hit in 6 of the last 7 games between LSU and Mississippi State. 
 
The underdog is 7-1-1 against the spread in the past 9 matchups between Arkansas State and Memphis. 
 
Iowa is 19-8-1 hitting the under as a home favorite since 2017. 
 
Fresno State is 9-0 against the spread against ranked teams since 2017. They play #7 USC this week. 
 
Kansas is 3-7 against the spread after a win since 2017. 
 
UCF is 10-21 against the spread after a loss since 2013, the worst record in FBS. 
 
Pitt is 10-2 as an away favorite ATS since 2017. Western Michigan is 1-2 as a home underdog in that same period, losing the spread by an average of 12.2 points. 
 
Miami (OH) is 6-0 against the spread in neutral site games since 2010. Cincinnati and Miami (OH) are also a combined 5-11-1 on the over in neutral site games in that same period.
