Bitter Units: A Beer Podcast 1.01: What beer is helping you survive quarantine?

Bitter Units is a podcast designed to educate all levels of beer drinkers. Topics range from what is the right occasion to drink specific types of beers, to how brewers decide what to make. With three hosts with wildly different levels of expertise the.re is something for everyone who enjoys a cold one. Hosted bed Aaron Wall, JT Nutt and Tim Johnson.

In the inaugural episode of Bitter Units, Aaron Wall, a beer dummy, JT Nutt, a beer novice, and Tim Johnson, a beer expert, discuss some of their favorite beers and what they’d want in their fridge should they be isolated from society (fitting) and maybe a few they’d rather not. Tim gives a breakdown of a proper tasting and a quick overview of the industry during the pandemic. JT shares what he’s looking for when he goes to a bar or a brewery. Aaron swears and gets angry about the term “crowler.” It’s certain to be fun if not even a little informative.

Aaron is an Iowa State graduate in Exercise and Sports Science. A published poet and once told by the dean of Iowa State's Liberal Arts college to pursue creative writing, he is still probably the least qualified contributor at The Tailgate Society. With less than 100 followers on twitter and no insta, snap, or tick tock you can probably guess that he is ancient. Also a certified curmudgeon by his wife.
